ROAD DESIGN ENGINEER - DUBLIN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is an International Multidisciplinary Consulting
Engineering & Project Management Practice.
This role can be based in Cork or Dublin.
They provide Civil, Structural, Mechanical & Electrical and Traffic
engineering design and consultancy, project management and PSDP
services.
Electrical Engineering Design and Design Management tasks on Projects
as part of an integrated project team
Design and specification of Electrical Engineering Solutions to
current regulations and design standards
Work directly with clients and project engineers to define project
requirements and develop technical solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong technical ability in all aspects of Road design.
Fluency in English.
QQI Level 8 or 9 qualification in an accredited Civil Engineering
programme.
Minimum of 2 yrs relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy
environment.
Experience of interacting with clients.
Report writing ability.
Membership of a relevant professional institution.
Knowledge & experience of current EN Standards..
Experience in design software.
Client & site contractor interaction & engagement.
Proactive, a good communicator with the ability to work well with
others in a multi-disciplinary project team.
Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
